I have been a speech-language pathologist for 27 years specializing in geriatric care. While working in the long term care setting, I often dreamed of being able to offer a different, smaller option, for seniors and their families when they need additional help and are no longer able to live independently. Brad stumbled upon a podcast that introduced me to the concept of Assisted Living Home Care. It is the answer I was looking for to make Aspen Valley Senior Homes a reality. Brad and I are proud to introduce our dementia care and residential assisted living home to Washington, Missouri.

Founding Aspen Valley Senior Homes as Washington’s premier residential assisted living community has allowed me to combine my favorite aspects of my career in both real estate investment and educating seniors and their adult children. Through my interactions over the years with the senior population, I began to realize that this is an area that brings joy in my life. I recently retired from a corporate position with Ascension to partner with Brad and Christy in the development of their dementia care home and residential assisted living facility in Washington, Missouri. My years as a Chief Financial Officer have provided me with significant knowledge and experience with accounting, finance and taxation. I bring a depth of knowledge in those areas that can greatly benefit those who are at the crossroads of their lives and pondering the financial implications of their next steps.
